Eric Maus
Eric Maus serves as the Director of Health and Science Policy for Citizens Against Government Waste (CAGW), a private, nonpartisan, nonprofit organization representing more than one million members and supporters nationwide.
As the Director of Health and Science Policy, Eric is responsible for the legislative and regulatory process at the federal and state level of government. He focuses on a free-market, patient-focused, less regulatory approach to healthcare, intellectual property, trade agreements, and federal programs like Medicare, Medicaid, and the 340B Drug Pricing Program. He is also engaged in other issues including energy policy, environmental issues, and tax policies.
Eric previously served as CAGW’s Manager of Federal Government Affairs.
A St. Louis native, Eric received a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of Missouri.
