Alexandra Abrams

Alex Abrams serves as Director of Communications for Citizens Against Government Waste (CAGW), a private non-partisan, non-profit organization representing more than one million members and supporters nationwide.

Joining CAGW in 2016, Alex specializes in developing the organization’s social media strategy, including scheduling Facebook Live interviews with high level public officials; creating graphic designs; arranging print, radio, and television interviews for CAGW’s policy experts; issuing press releases; placing op-eds; as well as coordinating all other communications. 

Alex was born and raised in Washington, D.C. and received her B.A. from Salisbury University for Media Production and Political Science. She is the proud daughter of CAGW President Tom Schatz. Go Caps!
