Sean Kennedy serves as Director of Policy and Research for Citizens Against Government Waste, a private, non-partisan, non-profit organization representing more than one million members and supporters nationwide. 

Sean specializes in defense and national security policy, the congressional appropriations process, and increasing transparency and good governance.  He also helps design and implement communications strategies.  Sean received his B.A. from Westminster College, and earned a master’s degree from American University focusing on security studies.
