(Washington, D.C.) – This afternoon, Citizens Against Government Waste (CAGW) President Tom Schatz, along with a coalition of taxpayer watchdog groups and lawmakers, held a press conference on Capitol Hill voicing their vigorous opposition to the House’s plan to resurrect the most corrupt and wasteful practice in congressional history: Earmarks.
