(Washington, D.C.) – On Thursday, April 16, Citizens Against Government Waste President Thomas A. Schatz will join panelists from six other free market/taxpayer activist groups for a discussion of the highway reauthorization bill which recently passed the U.S. House of Representatives. The policy forum, sponsored by the Cato Institute, will examine how the pork-laden highway bill busts the balanced budget agreement, returns only dimes for each taxpayer dollar, and may actually create more traffic problems than solutions.
CAGW is a nonpartisan, nonprofit organization dedicated to eliminating waste, inefficiency, mismanagement and abuse in the federal government.
