Citizens Against Government Waste (CAGW), recognized as America’s premier waste-fighting organization, invites all concerned citizens to Governing in the 21st Century, a Taxpayer Education Conference on Saturday, November 15 at the Harrisburg Marriott from 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. Pennsylvania Lieutenant Governor Mark Schweiker is event chairman and keynote luncheon speaker and best-selling author Martin L. Gross will deliver the morning keynote address. Shelly L. Davis, former IRS historian and author of Unbridled Power: Inside the Secret Culture of the IRS, will make a rare public appearance at the conference. She was the star witness at the recent Senate Finance Committee hearing into IRS abuses.
The conference is the sixth in a series of regional conferences hosted by CAGW throughout the United States. Participants include taxpayers, business and civic leaders and members of the media. Public officials, policy leaders and nationally recognized experts will address spending, healthcare, government regulation and issues specific to Pennsylvanians.
The cost for the conference is $20 per person, which includes the luncheon. Media covering the event are welcome to attend free of charge. For more information or to register please call Citizens Against Government Waste at 1-800-USA-DEBT.
