Citizens Against Government Waste Invites You to the Unveiling of its Latest Investigative Report: Medicare Fraud: The Symptoms and the Cure

Citizens Against Government Waste (CAGW), recognized as America’s premier waste-fighting organization, will unveil its latest investigative report at a luncheon on Monday, September 29, 1997.  The report, entitled Medicare Fraud:  The Symptoms and the Cure, identifies examples of rampant Medicare fraud and offers market-driven solutions to fight it.

The luncheon briefing will be held in 1310 Longworth House Office Building, beginning promptly at 12:00 noon.  Speakers at the luncheon will be CAGW President Thomas A. Schatz; Dr. Regina Herzlinger, the Nancy McPherson Professor of Business Administration Chair at Harvard Business School and author of Market Driven Health Care; Dr. Robert Goldberg, Associate Director of the Center for Neuroscience, Medical Progress and Society at George Washington University; and David Kendall, Senior Analyst for Health Policy at the Progressive Policy Institute.  The speakers will address Medicare fraud, market-driven Medicare reforms, and health care reform in general.
