How do I Send E-mail to the contacts in my Address Book?

  1. First, log onto the Participant Center.  

  2. If you are not  a registered participant for this TeamRaiser, you must register first!  then log on.

  3. Then, select E-mail icon/link in the header of the Participant Center.

Use this message to recruit friends to join your team.  Select one of the available sample messages to send or create a free-form message of your own.

Solicit Gifts

 

 

 

Use this message to ask friends to support you by donating to your personal campaign for the TeamRaiser.  Select one of the available samples to send or create a free form message of your own.

Reminder

This message type is for reminding supporters whom you have already contacted/solicited, about an ongoing campaign.  Select one of the sample messages to send or create a free-form message of your own.

Thank You

This message type conveys appreciation for gifts made to your personal campaign or support in any other form related to your Friendraising efforts. Select one of the sample messages to send or create a free-form message of your own.

Other Message Type

This is a free-form message format that you can use for any type of communication that yoiu want to send.  All Free-form Messages will have Your Name (sender's name that you fill in) and Your E-mail automatically filled in.  The rest is up to you to compose.   

  1. Press the Go button.  You will see the Compose your E-mail Message screen.

Compose the body of the message

  1. First provide the From fields.  Enter information in the compulsory fields.  These are prefixed by an asterisk.

  2. Enter your name

  3. Enter your e-mail address

  4. Select the recipient(s) you wish to send your message to, from the box on the right.

  5. Click the Add Contact button. (This is possible only if they already exist in your address book).  

  6. Or, type the e-mail addresses in the box on the left.

  1. Suggest to the recipient what the message is about in the Subject line of the message page.  This would depend on the type of the message you are sending:  For example, for a Thank You Message you could enter:  'In appreciation for your generous gift', in the Subject text box.

  2. Depending on how the organization has set it up,  if you are using a sample message:

  3. You may be able to customize your message by adding your own text after the message text, but not changing the existing text. as in:

  1. Or, you may be able to modify the existing text in the message to what you would like it to say.

  1. Press Send.  You will return to the Choose Message Type and Template screen where you can send more messages if you so desire.
