If you are not already a registered user of this site, you may wish to register before you donate. If the campaign you are donating to accepts pledges, registering ensures that you have that option to pledge and be billed in installments. If you choose to donate now, you will be choosing credit card as a means of payment and must make an immediate online payment.
Choose the campaign you wish to contribute to by clicking on the campaign name on the page that lists giving opportunities.
On the Options screen that displays, follow the 5 steps listed below to donate now. Click on each link for more details on that step:
Choose a Recognition Option (Is this a tribute? Do you wish to be featured on the Donor Wall of Fame?)
Fill out Tribute Information, choose a Premium (if either of these are available options).
Provide Billing Information (for online donation), Payment Information for pledge.
First, pick a contribution level or amount:
You can select a donation level by checking the button to the left of the amount you wish to contribute.
To choose the amount you contribute (if allowed by the organization):
You may enter an amount of your choosing if you see the Other Amount option on this page: Please enter an amount for your gift below
Then, enter the amount you wish to contribute in the Other Amount text box provided on this page and proceed to fill out the rest of the form.
There may be a limit to the dollar amount you may choose to contribute. If the amount you wish to contribute exceeds that amount, look for a donation level that is closer to your contribution amount.
Do you see the option to pay by making a pledge? (if allowed by the organization)
If not, you may wish to register first, then access giving opportunities being logged in with your user name and password. If you are already a registered constituent of this site, log in first with your user name and password, then access giving opportunities to see all payment options. Note that only registered users can pledge!
Still don't see any pledging opportunities? The campaign you have chosen to contribute to, may not be accepting pledges. To contribute, choose one of the donation levels listed to donate now through credit card.
If you do see the Make a Pledge option with the button next to it for you to select, check the button, fill out the rest of the form, choose recognition options and press Next Step. Click here for further instructions on how to pledge.
Do you wish to pay the entire amount of your contribution right now?
Choose the pay now with a credit card option by selecting that button. This means you will be using your credit card. Have your credit card ready. You will be asked for your billing information on the next screen.
Then, choose a Recognition Option: Would you like to be recognized for your contribution? Or, do you wish to remain anonymous?
You have chosen how much you wish to contribute (contribution level) and how you wish to pay (payment option).
Now choose a Recognition Option from those available under How would you like to be recognized for your contribution? Review the options listed. See which of the following is offered by the campaign you chose to contribute to. Select the option you want by checking the corresponding button.
I would like to be recognized for this donation - your name will be displayed on the online Donor Wall of Fame.
Please make this an anonymous donation - your name will not be displayed on the Donor Wall of Fame.
This is a joint gift from myself and - both you, and the individual whose name you provide in the text box, will receive postal mail that acknowledges your contribution.
I would like to make a donation in memory of someone else - If you select this option, you are making a contribution in tribute of an individual. You will be asked to fill out information on the honoree on the next page, the Tribute Information Page. Recipient Information, such as name and street address will be used to notify the honoree about your tribute. This should be the name and address information of the honoree - if living. Provide your own street address and information, if this contribution is a tribute to an individual who is deceased.
Press Next Step on the Options screen.
If you chose to make a donation in memory of an individual you will see the Tribute Information screen. Provide a message to the honoree in the box that you see. This could be sent by the organization to the honoree (if you provided the honoree's address information as Recipient Information conveying the fact of your tribute to him/her. If you wish to have your donation amount included in the letter to be sent to the recipient of honoree information, select the check box provided. Press Next Step.
If premiums are offered at the donation level you chose to contribute at, you will see the Premium Selection Page. Using the pull-down menu provided, choose a premium option. Click on the Select Premium button.
If you do not wish to choose a premium and want your entire contribution to go to the organization, click on the No Premium button.
If you selected any of the above options, once you have pressed the button, you will proceed to the Payment Information screen.
Enter the required Billing Information on the next page.
Be sure to enter information in all the mandatory or compulsory fields. These are prefixed with a star or asterisk.
Provide First Name, Last Name.
Provide the first Billing Address in the Billing Address 1 text box. You can enter a second address if you choose to in the Billing Address 2 box provided.
Provide your E-mail Address.
Enter City, State and Zip Code.
Choose a credit card type by selecting the appropriate button. Provide the credit card number and select the date of expiration (month and year) using the drop-down menus provided.
Click the Next Step button to proceed. Verify the information on the Review and Submit screen screen that displays. To make a correction, Press Previous Step.
Once you have verified the accuracy of the billing information, click Process Transaction to proceed with payment.
This is the Confirmation stage of your transaction: A Thank you message will display, assigning a tracking code and notifying you about the Tax deductible amount to you for future reference. You may wish to print this page out as it will serve as a receipt.
Use Confirmation screen as receipt and record of transaction
Once you are at the Confirmation screen your online transaction will have been processed. If you chose to make a pledge, at this time, you will have selected a pledge schedule and committed to that schedule by pressing Next Step.
You may wish to print this confirmation screen and use it as a receipt or a record of transaction. Take note of the following details for your records:

If you chose a premium offered at the donation level you contributed at, the premium itself (for example T-Shirt) and premium selection you made (Small/Medium/Large), as well as estimated shipping date for the premium will be included in the second paragraph of the message. The Fair Market Value of your premium will be included in this message (in dollars) as this will affect the tax deductible portion of your gift. |

This is the dollar value of the premium you selected (if you chose one). It will impact the Tax Deductible portion of your gift which will be computed thus: Total dollar amount of Gift less Fair Market Value of Premium |
