How do I choose the right message template?

You may need to send a message to recruit team members, a thank you for a donation to a supporter, a reminder about a participatory event to a team member, a solicitation for a donation/gift to a supporter and so on. These are the Message Types (standard formats) available for selection to you, the participant. We know that in addition to the personal pages used by participants to convey the cause, viral communication is key to the dissemination of the TeamRaiser's message and the participant is a key messenger in this regard.

Solicit Team Members	These are messages that will be used by the participant to recruit other participants in the TeamRaiser as team members. Example: "Recruit Co-Workers".
Solicit Gifts	These are messages that will be used by the participant to solicit donations from friends or supporters. Example: "
Reminder	These are messages intended to remind other participants or team members of an ongoing participatory event in a TeamRaiser - will communicate encouragement
Thank You	These are messages that will be sent from the participant to a friend (a team member or a supporter) for a variety of reasons - acknowledging a gift made online by a friend, thanking a friend for other forms of support or just a general thank you message for another reason.
Other Message Type	This could encompass a variety of occasions that require a free form message from the participant: For example, an invitation team members to a training session for a race for the cure
