Compile all the e-mail addresses of friends you may wish to solicit for their support!   You already know that you can can enter e-mail addresses of friends you wish to solicit directly in your Address Book.  

You can also upload e-mail addresses from the following sources:  

Choose a file format, Microsoft Outlook, Yahoo or AOL and upload e-mail addresses. For help on uploading your address book, select the appropriate link for instructions:   See below.

How do I import my address book from Microsoft Outlook?

Use the form provided to upload your address book.  Go through the steps 1. - 4. on the form.

First, select the file format you wish to upload your address book in.  This will depend on the e-mail client you wish to upload addresses from.  If you wish to upload your address book from Microsoft Outlook ,  you will be uploading the file in a .csv format.  Select Microsoft Outlook .CSV from the pull-down menu.

Go to the Microsoft Outlook application on your PC and export your contacts in the format you want - a .csv file format.

  1. First, export the information from Microsoft Outlook:

  2. Open Microsoft Outlook 97, 98, or 2000.

  3. Open the File menu and select "Import and Export."

  4. Select "Export to a File" and click "Next."

  5. Select your Contacts folder and click "Next." (Outlook 98 users: perform step 5 first.)

  6. Select "Comma Separated Values (Windows)" and click "Next."

  7. Select the "Contacts" folder to export from and click "Next."

  8. Specify a location on your system where you would like the file to be saved, and enter a name for the .CSV file. Then click "Next."

  9. Make sure there is a check in the box next to "Export Contacts from the Contacts Folder" and tne click "Finish" to export the data to the .CSV file.

Upload (Import) that file into your address book:

  1. Go to the Upload your Address Book form and make sure that you are signed into your account.

  2. Go to step 3. - Specify the name of your file.  Enter the file path and name of the file you exported from Outlook Express, or click the Browse button to find the file on your system..

  3. Click the Upload Now button and the .CSV file will be uploaded into your address book with all the listed contacts in it.

How do I import my address book from Outlook Express?

Use the form provided to upload your address book.

Go through the steps 1. - 4.

First, select the file format you wish to upload your address book in.  This will depend on the e-mail client you wish to upload addresses from.  If you wish to upload your address book from Microsoft Outlook Express,  you will be uploading the file in a .csv format.  Select Microsoft Outlook Express .csv from the pull-down menu.

Go to the Outlook Express application on your PC and export your contacts in the format you want - a .csv file format.

To copy contact information from Microsoft Outlook Express to your Address Book, please follow these steps:

  1. First, export information from Outlook Express:

  2. Open Outlook Express.

  3. Select "Export" from the File menu.

  4. From the Export menu, select "Address Book."

  5. Select the file type "Text File (Comma Separated Values)."

  6. Click the "Export" button.

  7. Enter a file location where the file will be saved and enter a name for the file (file name should end in ".csv").

  8. Click the "Next" button.

  9. Check which fields you wish to export. (We recommended checking all boxes.)

  10. Click "Finish" to export the data to the Comma Separated Values (.CSV) file at the location you specified.

  11. The .CSV file generated in the process above is readable by your Address Book.  

  12. Next, import that file onto a drive on your local machine, saving it in a .csv format in that specified location..

Upload (Import) that file into your address book:

  1. Go to the Upload your Address Book form and make sure that you are signed into your account.

  2. Go to step 3. - Specify the name of your file.  Enter the file path and name of the file you exported from Outlook Express, or click the Browse button to find the file on your system..

  3. Click the Upload Now button and the .CSV file will be uploaded into your address book with all the listed contacts in it.

 How do I Import Addresses from Yahoo?

To copy contact information from Yahoo! Address Book to your Address Book , please do the following.

First, export the information from your Yahoo! Address Book:

  1. Go to the Yahoo! Address Book and make sure that you are signed into your account.

  2. Click the "Options" link in the upper-right corner of the Address Book page.

  3. Click the "Import/Export" link.

  4. In the Export section, click the "Export Now" button next to the phrase "Yahoo CSV".

  5. When prompted, specify a location where you would like the file to be saved, and enter a name for the .CSV file in the "Save As" dialog box.

  6. The Comma Separated Values (.csv) file generated in the process above is readable by Microsoft Outlook Express.

Upload (Import) that file into your address book:

  1. Go to the Upload your Address Book form and make sure that you are signed into your account.

  2. Go to step 3. - Specify the name of your file.  Enter the file path and name of the file you exported from Yahoo, or click the Browse button to find the file on your system.

  3. Click the Upload Now button and the .CSV file will be uploaded into your address book with all the listed contacts in it.

How do I Import addresses from AOL?

First, export information from AOL:

  1. Open AOL.

  2. Log onto your AOL account.

  3. Go to Mail in the header and select More.

  4. Choose Address Book from the menu.

  5. In the window that comes up, select the addresses you wish to export.

  6. Press the Print button in the Address Book window.

  7. Do you wish to print (export) all addresses or selected addresses only? In the pop-up that displays, check the correct button.  Click OK.

  8. In the Print dialog, default printer should be selected and Type should be Generic/Text only.  Press OK.

  9. In the Print to File Window that displays, import that file onto a drive on your local machine, saving it in a print file format in that specified location. and enter a name for the file (file name should end in ".prn").

  Upload (Import) that file into your address book:

  1. Go to the Upload your Address Book form and make sure that you are signed into your account.

  2. Go to step 3. - Specify the name of your file.  Enter the file path and name of the file you exported from Yahoo, or click the Browse button to find the file on your system.

  3. Click the Upload Now button and the .prn file will be uploaded into your address book with all the listed contacts in it.
